Lakshmi is a passionate and driven Human Resources Business Partner at SEMS Foundation, a non-profit organization dedicated to empowering underprivileged children through education and health initiatives. She holds a postgraduate diploma in Human Resources Management from the Symbiosis Centre for Distance Learning and has a diverse educational background in biomedical engineering and computer science.
Lakshmi earned her Bachelor of Engineering (BE) in Medical Electronics, which provided her with a strong technical foundation. She gained valuable industry experience as a Quality Assurance (QA) analyst at a manufacturing company specializing in medical devices. Following this, she completed an internship as a biomedical technician in the biomedical department at Narayana Hrudayalaya Hospital, where she further honed her technical skills.
In addition to her professional experience, Lakshmi has been actively involved in volunteer work. She volunteered as a teacher at the San Jose Public Library, where she taught English language software to those in need and provided basic computer skills training, including HTML, CSS, and essential email skills. Her technical acumen is further demonstrated by her coursework in Java and SQL, along with her proficiency in HTML and CSS, gained at De Anza College in Cupertino. During her time there, she also contributed to debugging website codes for the college, ensuring their proper functioning.
Lakshmi’s unique blend of technical expertise and human resources knowledge, combined with her commitment to volunteer work, makes her a valuable asset to the SEMS Foundation. She is dedicated to leveraging her diverse skills to support the organization’s mission and make a positive impact on the community.
